This is a 1st shift position. The Crane Operator is responsible for coil receiving, including unloading trucks and placing coils in designated storage areas. This role involves completing receiving paperwork, utilizing the kanban card system, staging coils at feed lines, and returning banded coils to storage. The operator will also stage and return dies to designated storage areas. Key responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of coil and die storage areas, operating a floor scrubber, and performing cycle counts of coils. Additionally, the operator monitors and completes changeovers on external transfer press bolsters and performs daily crane and chain inspections, documenting all findings and reporting issues promptly. Other essential functions may be assigned.
