About The Position

Archer Western de Moya JV, a member of The Walsh Group, is seeking a Crane Operator for the Miami Signature Bridge project in Miami, Florida. The role primarily operates a crane at the worksite to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building structures. Equipment operators may also assist with other jobsite duties as needed.

Requirements

• A crane operator license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of operating experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a crane to drive pylons, set beams, and direct and assist with rigging.
• Apply knowledge of operating procedures for loading and unloading materials.
• Oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Complete paperwork and other documentation as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
