About The Position

Turner Industries Group is hiring experienced Crane and Heavy Equipment Mechanics to support its fleet at the Equipment Yard in Pasadena, Texas. The position involves working on heavy equipment, gas and diesel engines, and hydraulic systems. The job offers regular work of 40 or more hours per week, with overtime after 40 hours and call-outs as needed. Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half. Per diem and relocation are not available; applicants must currently reside in the Houston metropolitan area.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience repairing diesel engines or heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must currently reside in the Houston metro area; per diem and relocation are not available.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering, or mechanic training.
• TWIC Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot diesel engine issues.
• Determine the parts and tools needed to make repairs.
• Complete shop paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
