About The Position

Ace Handyman Services - Casper is seeking highly motivated professional Carpenters with skills in multiple trades. We are one of Wyoming's top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies, providing quality craftsmanship for all repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects. This is a W2 position offering the flexibility of an independent job, where we find and schedule the jobs, and you provide the quality craftsmanship and customer service. You will work out of your home on your choice of a full-time or part-time basis, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites in Cheyenne and nearby areas. The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry. Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name.

Requirements

Strong work ethic, professional appearance and demeanor.
Good overall knowledge of multiple trades: Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, Drywalling, light Plumbing and Electrical.
Excellent customer service skills, including solid communication and interpersonal abilities.
Successful prior track record as a Carpenter / Craftsman.
Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing.
Own standard set of tools to perform all trades.
Own truck or van.
Current and valid driver’s license.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong documentation and invoicing skills.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Estimation skills and prior home inspection experience, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service.
Travel to job sites in Cheyenne and nearby areas using your own truck or van.
Perform carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, and light plumbing and electrical tasks.
Interact in a positive way with a wide variety of different types of clients, as well as fellow employees, management, and office personnel.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and solve problems.
Document and invoice work performed.
