Ace Handyman Services Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, a locally-owned member of the Ace Hardware family, is seeking multi-skilled Craftsmen who want to put their years of experience and quality workmanship to work helping the community, while following our proven customer service processes. We are hiring Full-Time professionals with various trades skills and solid work experience to join our team! If you are ready to get back to doing what you love and reclaim some personal time, we'd love to talk to you. The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry. Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name.

Requirements

• Experience in trades, construction, or remodeling.
• Skills to perform a variety of home repair and improvement tasks.
• Own an extensive set of tools to support your craft.
• Take pride in the quality of your work.
• Friendly, positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient with technology (tablet application).
• Ability and willingness to follow processes.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Passing a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of home repair and improvement tasks.
• Manage job tasks using a tablet application.
• Follow established customer service processes.
• Provide high-level service to repeat and referral customers.
• Work independently and manage your schedule.
