About The Position
House Doctors is a national professional handyman and home improvements company. Our St Peter's location has been servicing the St Charles county and West County areas for 18+ years. We are looking for energetic and friendly people who enjoy working with customers on various home improvement projects that involves carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing and electrical, flooring, and home remodels. This position is for highly organized and customer centric individuals who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience is an asset, but not required - basic construction skills are necessary. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast-growing company. Requirements
- 10+ years of home repair and remodel field experience
- Multi-skilled in various trades.
- Ability to learn and operate some basic computer programs and systems
- Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
- A strong work ethic and highly dependable
- Able to do physical labor work including bending, lifting (75+ lbs), and handling tools
- Driver's license is required
- Carpenter, Remodeler, Craftsman, Maintenance Technician, General Maintenance Technician, Technician, painter, drywaller, plumber, electrician, Siding installer, General Contractor, Professional handyman
Nice To Haves
- Previous handyman experience is an asset, but not required - basic construction skills are necessary.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks that involves the following skills: Carpentry (doors, trim, cabinetry, framing, etc.), Plumbing (small repairs and installs, etc. ), Electrical (outlet/switch replacement, light fixture installation, etc.), Drywall (repairs, finish, etc.), Painting (interior, exterior, etc.), Tile (flooring, shower, backsplash, etc.), Flooring (tile, floating, hardwood, etc.), Handyman repairs and maintenance tasks
- Work with customer to deliver excellent work and customer satisfaction
- Maintain clean and safe job site, work vehicle and shop
- Accurately manage job related tasks, materials, and paperwork
- Communicate and coordinate with office on job schedules
- Follow company procedures and guidelines
- Assist in other company business related activities.
