About The Position

Ace Handyman Services is seeking a skilled Craftsman dedicated to quality for their team. This role is ideal for someone tired of inconsistent work and 1099 uncertainty. The company manages job sourcing, scheduling, and administrative tasks, allowing the Craftsman to focus on their craft. The position involves primarily residential repairs and improvements, including drywall repair, interior painting, carpentry and trim work, door installs and repairs, punch lists, and general repairs.

Requirements

• 3+ years in handyman work or residential construction
• Proficient in at least 3 core trades (drywall, painting, carpentry, doors)
• Ability to set customer expectations and explain findings
• Respectful of homes and maintain clean work habits
• Dependable problem-solver who follows through
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Comfortable using a smartphone
• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues
• Communicate solutions
• Deliver lasting results
• Perform residential repairs and improvements
• Conduct drywall repair, patching, blending, and clean finishes
• Perform interior painting including walls, trim, touch-ups, and clean lines
• Complete carpentry and trim work such as baseboards, casing, and repairs
• Install and repair doors, including slabs, pre-hung, and hardware
• Address punch lists for realtor requests and home sale preparation
• Handle general repairs, troubleshooting, and small installs
