About The Position

This role serves as a Craft Clerk/Administrator, supporting renewable energy projects. The responsibilities encompass payroll processing, daily office administration, human resources support between field and main office, general operations assistance, and safety communication. The position requires relocation to project sites in Louisiana and openness to national relocation upon project completion.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in administration, payroll, and basic HR duties.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks (multi-tasking).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and possess strong self-initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Payroll system experience.
  • Must comply with company’s drug and alcohol abuse policy.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical examination.
  • Must comply with client safety requirements (e.g., clean-shaven, long sleeves, steel-toe boots).
  • Able to wear a respirator and other PPE when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Union Payroll experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (or other relevant language).

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll using B2W and Keystyle systems, including Personnel Action Forms, Labor Cost Adjustments, and UKG.
  • Establish and maintain a professional work environment, handle daily office responsibilities such as answering phones, managing mail, ordering supplies, and coordinating shipments.
  • Greet visitors, new hires, and employees professionally and empathetically.
  • Communicate effectively with craft and management at all levels.
  • Assist corporate in maintaining company assets.
  • Prepare various reports (daily, weekly, monthly, annual, job-to-date).
  • Support Human Resource needs by cooperating with Site Supervision to complete employee documents and assure employee orientation packets are distributed.
  • Participate in training programs and return HR materials to Denver at project end.
  • Assist Site Supervision in establishing utilities, mail, and basic delivery services.
  • Perform routine office maintenance and coordinate cleaning and office machine maintenance.
  • Run errands as needed.
  • Communicate location and access of emergency rooms/clinics and post emergency service numbers.
  • Assist the Safety Manager as needed.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by a supervisor.
