About The Position

PROtect, LLC is seeking motivated Level I and Level II Computed Radiography (CR) / Digital Radiography (DR) Technicians to join their team in Lenexa, Kansas. This role is for individuals passionate about safety, quality, and advancing their careers in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). The technician will perform non-destructive testing on structures, pipelines, equipment, and other industrial components, ensuring compliance with industry codes, customer specifications, and company procedures. Level II Technicians may also provide guidance to Level I technicians and assistants.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Must be insurable under PROtect, LLC's insurance policy
  • State Card required
  • Level I or Level II RT Certification with CR/DR
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Non-Destructive Testing

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications in UTT, MT, and PT are preferred for Level I candidates and required for Level II candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Perform NDT inspections using Digital Radiography (DR) and Computed Radiography (CR).
  • Utilize additional NDT methods as qualified, including RT, UTT, MT, and PT.
  • Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain NDT equipment.
  • Identify and document defects in materials and components.
  • Complete inspection reports, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Follow all company and customer safety procedures.
  • Level II Technicians may provide guidance, mentoring, and instruction to Level I technicians and assistants.
  • Perform general equipment inspections, vehicle maintenance, and housekeeping duties.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned.
