About The Position

This position involves performing intermediate repairs on a partial portfolio of handpieces and/or small equipment. The role requires diagnosis and failure analysis using appropriate test equipment, documenting evaluations, service recommendations, and feedback on service work orders. The technician will also perform quality testing of products to established specifications and may provide limited technical support. The position is onsite and located in Lenexa, KS. Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Basic electrical / mechanical skills desired.
  • Basic math and logic skills required.
  • Basic computer skills and software use desired.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • 1 year professional work experience in mechanical, production or skilled trades industries and/or proficiency in relevant repair experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performing intermediate repairs on a partial portfolio of handpieces and/or small equipment as assigned by Supervisor
  • Performs diagnosis and failure analysis using appropriate test equipment and tooling.
  • Documents device evaluation, service recommendations, parts required and preventative maintenance feedback on service work orders.
  • Repairs and performs quality testing of products to established specifications as required.
  • May provide technical support on a limited portfolio of products as required
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by lead or management.
