As the CPS Redaction and Support Unit Supervisor, you will lead our efforts to respond to requests for client records, protecting privacy and confidentiality and ensuring we meet all legal mandates. This work requires dedication, organization and collaboration. We are looking for someone to be a working supervisor, overseeing the daily operation of responding to requests for CPS and In-Home Services (IHS) client records and support for case documentation. You will provide administrative, educational, and supportive supervision to a junior analyst and an administrative assistant to ensure the work is performed to standards. You also will work collaboratively with others such as assistant county attorneys, records staff, law enforcement, and other child welfare staff. You will serve as a primary subject matter expert for us on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and privacy laws and on requirements for case documentation and court paperwork. While the job is primarily Monday-Friday from 8:00 – 4:30, FOIA requires strict timeframes and there is often a need to be flexible to ensure those timeframes are met.
