The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) works to build on strengths of families and communities to keep children and vulnerable adults safe, so they thrive. We do this through investigations, services, and referrals. This position works under the direction of the CPS Regional Director with limited supervision and moderate latitude in performing highly complex technical duties. Duties involve reviewing, evaluating data, developing tracking systems and providing current information to CPS management staff. Utilizes complex automated applications and programs for information retrieval, data entry, and issuance. Provides direct assistance to all levels of staff by disseminating information via direct contact, telephone, email or correspondence. Develops, coordinates and maintains record keeping and filing systems. Trains administrative staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
