About The Position

The Site Director is responsible for directing the operations of the assigned site(s), ensuring that regulatory standards and administrative policies and procedures are followed. The Site Director acts as a liaison to various agencies and stakeholders. Employees in this classification supervise the work of professional, technical and clerical staff and do other work as assigned.

Requirements

  • Management experience of 2 years in outpatient administrative supervision.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Arizona Driver’s License, 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance that meets insurance requirements.
  • Must be able to provide own, reliable transportation, if required.
  • Must possess Level 1 fingerprint clearance.
  • Computer literacy to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems, Word, Outlook and Excel application; ability to utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Comprehension of the English language, verbally and in writing, and the ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office, school or community setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist: to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amount of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard or laptop; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
  • Ability to provide services in homes or locations in the community which may not be adapted for accessibility.
  • Ability to drive a vehicle.
  • See in the normal visual range with or without correction or accommodation.
  • Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction or accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in a field related to Behavioral Health preferred, but not required.
  • Behavioral Health licensure not required, but preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, if required (Employer provides).
  • Initial current negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support, leadership and oversight for site.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with various officials and professional workers.
  • Serves as the central point of contact for program services; provides positive public relations for all programs.
  • Working collaboratively with Human Resources, has responsibility for hiring, developing, retaining, evaluating, disciplining and discharging of program staff.
  • Consults with supervisor and/or Human Resources as necessary regarding all legal issues, serious programmatic issues, and critical events.
  • Provides administrative supervision of assigned supervisory and support staff.
  • Fills in for supervisors as needed; is on-call for program emergencies.
  • Participates in annual budget preparation and is accountable for site’s adherence to annual budget parameters.
  • Follows agency purchasing and accounting procedures; ensures support and program staff do also.
  • Ensures program staff receive annual and in-service training, and coaching, on an on-going basis.
  • Participates in Management Team meetings, conferences, and other agency-related meetings, as necessary.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings for site staff.
  • Ensures that cleanliness and safety standards for the site are met, and that appearance of the site and vehicles are maintained.
  • Ensures that member files are maintained in accordance with the Organization and contractual standards.
  • Ensures that program data is collected through established protocols to document outcome measures.
  • Supports the organization’s mission, goals and management decisions; promotes an empirical behavioral model in program services.
  • Maintains an approved schedule and acceptable level of attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of the position.
