About The Position

CTI Foods, a leader in custom food manufacturing, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Director to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth within our CPG/Industrial segment, across all product categories. The ideal candidate has an extensive background in partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to create custom food solutions, preferably in protein or kettle production, established relationships and a proven track record of successful sales strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, Food Science, Culinary Arts or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of experience in custom food manufacturing sales, with a focus on CPG/Industrial accounts.
Experience within the protein and/or kettle manufacturing business.
Proven track record of managing and growing partnerships within CPG/Industrial sales.
Well-established relationships with key decision-makers in CPG/Industrial channels, proactive in seeking new partnership opportunities.
General knowledge of food science principles, culinary techniques, and product development processes.
Proficiency in Salesforce
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical abilities to interpret sales data and market trends effectively.
Travel 50% or greater

Responsibilities

Create and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive volume growth for CTI Foods within CPG/Industrial accounts leveraging our expansive product offering.
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients across various functions, understanding their needs and driving customer satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling CTI Foods’ products within existing accounts.
Prospect new clients, creating comprehensive proposals to drive acquisition.
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to drive opportunities forward, including R&D, Procurement, Culinary, Project Management & S&OP.
Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on account performance.
Effectively manage Salesforce as the sole platform for project management. Maintain an effective pipeline to deliver company targeted YOY growth.
Attend production runs, plant tours, and customer presentations, serving as the customer’s main point of contact.
Maintain industry knowledge to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends and competitive landscape
Mentor and guide a team of sales representatives focusing on national accounts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
