About The Position

Dana F. Cole & Company, LLP is seeking an experienced CPA to join their Lincoln team. This role offers a unique opportunity for leadership with a track to partnership. The CPA will manage their own client base, enjoying autonomy while benefiting from a family-friendly community. The firm is a CPA firm with over 100 years of history, serving clients across the Midwest with offices in NE, KS, MI, MN, MO, and WY. They are large enough to meet a wide range of client needs but small enough to know their clients personally, believing their greatest asset is their people and investing in their success.

Requirements

Licensed CPA with significant public accounting experience
Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and research skills
Excellent verbal and written communication—capable of translating complex financial data for a broad range of clients.
Prior experience supervising or managing teams.
A strong client service mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust.

Nice To Haves

Farm tax experience is a plus, but not required.
Audit experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns.
Assume responsibility for all phases of an assignment from planning to delivery of the financial statements and tax returns for small and medium sized engagements.
Identify issues with clients’ processes and controls, make recommendations for improvements.
Maintain quality client relationships.
