About The Position

This is a rotational leadership program designed for recent graduates or final-year post-secondary students who are looking to launch their careers while working towards their Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. The program offers hands-on experience in Internal Audit and Finance, guided by experienced professionals and supported by an approved CPA Mentor. Participants will follow an approved CPA Ontario work plan to meet the Experience Requirements for their Professional Work Experience. The program duration is 24 months, with an expected completion time closer to 30 months to accommodate vacation and study time for the CPA Professional Readiness Module.

Requirements

  • Graduating in Spring 2027 with an undergraduate degree.
  • Registered with CPA Ontario and have met CPA Ontario admission requirements.
  • A recognized degree or equivalent.
  • At least 120 credit hours (or equivalent).
  • A minimum GPA that meets CPAO’s requirements across those 120 credit hours.
  • Successful completion of the Knowledge Assessment or CPA Qualifying Courses (7 required and 8 additional business courses).
  • Successfully complete a graduate program with an Accredited PSI, such that you are eligible to write the Professional Final Examination (Part 1 – Core and Part 2 – Leadership) in September 2027.
  • A strong academic record, with a GPA of at least 70%.
  • Be a student or recent graduate (May 2025 to May 2027) or in your final year of studies in business, finance or accounting.
  • Legally eligible to work in Toronto, Canada.
  • Skills: Accounting Standards, Analytical Thinking, Compliance Assurance, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), Internal Auditing, Management Controls, Operations Management, Policy Procedures, Risk Control.
