About The Position

The CP Chemical Operator operates and monitors chemical production processes, equipment, and material flows for precious metal chemical product manufacturing. The role executes complex operations, maintains accountability for materials and inventory, supports product quality and regulatory compliance, and safely handles hazardous chemicals and high-value precious metal assets. The operator contributes to production efficiency, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement through effective process execution and technical problem solving. The position includes operating systems such as Rhodium production, PLC-controlled operations, Rotovap systems, and LS treatment processes; maintaining and monitoring production equipment; tracking precious metal-bearing materials and production yields; and recording material and production transactions in SAP (PMT). The operator also monitors process parameters, completes production and shift documentation, conducts routine inspections, and performs first-level troubleshooting. The operator works with production, refinery operations, quality assurance, EHS, laboratory, warehouse, maintenance, supervisors, and other teams. The position may involve evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules as required. The work environment includes exposure to powders, chemical compounds, industrial equipment, elevated temperatures, and outdoor conditions. PPE is required, and occasional handling of materials weighing up to 50 pounds is expected.
