About The Position

Coverage Staff provide coverage at Door of Hope’s transitional housing locations on an on-call, as-needed basis. Coverage Staff assist in keeping families accountable to uphold the Resident Policy Manual and to continue progressing toward their goals.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Connect with families when possible during shift, offering support and encouragement
Maintain healthy boundaries with parents and children
Keep families on schedule during shift, maintaining order in facility
Ensure safety of facility, strictly adhering to protocols in place to keep families safe
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety of site, especially focusing on common areas
Respond to and assist in resolving any issues, complaints, or conflicts that arise during shift
Report facilities needs/repairs immediately
Answer calls and front door (donors, volunteers, etc.)
Provide a work site report at the end of each shift
Perform any other task necessary to support the mission of Door of Hope
