About The Position

Join the team at Mazda Farmington Hills as a Courtesy Driver and play an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position supports our Service Department by providing safe, reliable transportation for customers while their vehicles are being serviced. As a Courtesy Driver, you will serve as a friendly ambassador for our dealership, helping customers feel valued and cared for throughout their service visit. If you enjoy driving, interacting with people, and being part of a team-focused environment, we encourage you to apply and help us maintain the high level of service our customers expect.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Sense of urgency
• Excellent communication
• Typing – ability to type efficiently to enter accurate information into tracking system
• Mathematics – ability to solve basic math calculations.
• Basic computer skills
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
• High school graduate or equivalent; must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Offer customers transportation to and from their destination, providing them a way to contact you if needed for pick-up.
• Drive cautiously and safely staying within the laws of the road.
• Ensure the customer’s experience while being transported is professional, stress-free, and timely.
• Drive customer’s vehicles in a way that shows respect for their property.
• Drive safely and with caution.
• Ensure the shuttle vehicle is clean and fueled. Fuel it in the afternoon so it will be ready during the rush in the morning.
• Ensure that shuttle vehicle has regular maintenance.
• Maintain clean and organized work area including the shuttle vehicle.
• Assist Service Advisors as needed.
• Assist in job duties of Service Porter whenever possible, in his/her absence.
• Maintain a valid local area driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Immediately inform management of any changes in status.
