About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring immediately for a Shuttle Driver at its airport locations. This role is crucial as the driver is often one of the first and last impressions customers have, contributing to a positive and stress-free travel experience. The position involves safely transporting customers between the airport terminal and the rental car facility, greeting customers, assisting with luggage, providing route information, and ensuring a comfortable and welcoming ride. Drivers must adhere to all safety procedures and driving standards while delivering friendly and attentive customer service.

Requirements

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (chauffeur license may be required depending on location)
• Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance
• Flexibility to work all shifts
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, enter, exit, and drive a bus for prolonged periods
• Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely

Nice To Haves

• Previous professional driving experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with a diverse group of customers
• 6 months customer service experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Transport customers safely and efficiently between the airport terminal and the rental car facility.
• Greet customers.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage.
