About The Position
Webbs Reserve at Babcock Ranch is seeking a motivated Full-Time Court Sports Professional to build club programming and enhance the experience for members and guests. Court sports include Tennis, Pickleball, and Bocce Ball. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in racquet sports and community management. The position's primary goal is to provide the ultimate court sports experience through high-quality instruction and customer service, playing an integral role in developing successful programs across all sports. This includes teaching various sports programs such as junior programs, lessons, special events, and clinics.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-years experience required.
- Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform the duties of the job (e.g., staff may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers, and the manuals for the equipment used are in English).
Responsibilities
- Provides instruction (private and group) for all levels of players.
- Assists in the promotion of and conducting court sports programs including clinics, private lessons, special events, and weekly activities to attract and maintain members’/guests’ court sports interests.
- Manage all booking engine functionality and programming.
- Communicate with members around all programming and offerings.
- Ensure students understand various court sports rules, scoring procedures, safety rules, booking components and etiquette.
- Enforces all club rules and regulations governing the use of the club/facility, its equipment, and other property.
- Performs racquet stringing.
- Performs court maintenance.
- Quickly and efficiently responds to member/guest questions, comments, and concerns.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Demonstrate positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism.
- Performs other duties as required.
