About The Position
This position is responsible for the supervision of a caseload of adult pretrial clients and conducting risk/needs assessments with offenders for pre-sentence needs. The chosen candidate will also be required to maintain log notes, complete affidavits to the Court and appear/testify in court proceedings as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Attention to detail
- Strong written/oral communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Degree in a social services field
- Minimum of one year experience in the field of criminal justice
- Experience relating directly to pretrial and/or probation supervision
- LS/CMI and WRNA certification
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Ability to maintain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
