The Oregon Judicial Department (OJD) is seeking a Court Operations Associate for the Baker County Circuit Court in Baker City, Oregon. This role is an underfill opportunity, meaning it may be filled at the Court Operations Clerk level initially, with the potential to advance to Court Operations Associate. The position involves greeting visitors, providing customer service, managing phone calls, answering questions about court calendars and case status, and explaining court policies and procedures. Responsibilities include data entry for various case types, preparing certified copies, scanning and uploading documents, processing court records requests, and researching archived records. The role also involves cashier duties, processing payments for filings, fees, fines, and bail, and managing an electronic payment till. Additionally, the position will assist with filing exhibits in various formats, processing mail, and providing courtroom backup as needed.
