About The Position

A unionized contractual lecturer appointment to teach Course MECH 289 - Design Graphics, Section II (Civil Engineering section). A Course assignment includes all or part of the following teaching activities: Preparation of the course and course plan, Delivery of the course, Evaluation of students, Submitting to the University a report on students attendance and student grades, Supervision of Teaching Assistants or any other teaching support staff, Upon request review of their students' grades, Meeting with students, being available to answer questions and give advice concerning course content and requirements. The Department of Mechanical Engineering is inviting applications for a course lecturer position to teach in Fall 2026. Requirements

  • Minimum of Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
  • Minimum of three years’ teaching experience or in industry related to Design Graphics software.
  • Good knowledge of Design Graphics software, Auto CAD, and hands-free sketching.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • Understanding of cross-cultural practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and flexible approach to teaching.
