About The Position
McGill University is seeking a Course Lecturer for the Farm Management and Technology Program to teach FMTP 082 Literary Genres during the Fall 2026 session. The position runs from August 24 to December 18, 2026. The Course Lecturer is expected to be available for final exams and responsible for grading them. Requirements
- Master’s degree in English or equivalent.
- Prior teaching experience at the college level with English courses, specifically Literary Genres.
- Evidence of effective teaching.
- Authorization to work in Canada.
- Willingness to work in the province of Quebec.
- Proficiency in English communication, both verbally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- Relevant non-teaching experience (presentations, workshops, field days, professional consultation, etc) or professional practice.
- A lecturer who has taught the course twice previously is considered to meet the TQR’s.
Responsibilities
- Teach FMTP 082 Literary Genres.
- Be available on the day of a scheduled final exam.
- Grade final exams as part of the contract.
