Requirements
- Master’s degree in English or equivalent.
- Prior teaching experience at the college level with this or similar English Upgrading courses, with evidence of effective teaching.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Willing to work in the province of Quebec.
- Proficient in English communication, both verbally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- Relevant non-teaching experience (presentations, workshops, field days, professional consultation, etc) or professional practice will also be considered.
- A lecturer who has taught the course twice previously is considered to meet the TQR’s.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures for FMTP 080 English Upgrading.
- Be available on the day of a scheduled final exam.
- Grade final exams as part of the contract.
