About The Position
This course aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to epidemiologic concepts and corresponding terms. After an introduction to the history, definition, and purposes of epidemiology, "core" concepts that are relevant in several areas of investigation (e.g., etiologic research, health care research, and community medicine practice) will be presented.
Requirements
- PhD students in Epidemiology or completed PhD in Epidemiology.
- Successful completion of comprehensive examination.
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based.
- Proficient in English communication, both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Teach Fundamentals of Epidemiology (EPIB 601-002) for Fall 2026.
- Provide a comprehensive introduction to epidemiologic concepts and corresponding terms.
- Present "core" concepts relevant in various areas of investigation, including etiologic research, health care research, and community medicine practice.
