About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a part-time Courier/Driver for their outpatient lab team, primarily covering weekend shifts with additional availability during the week as needed. The individual will be responsible for the pick-up and delivery of specimens, reports, and supplies to client locations, adhering to department and company procedures. This role also involves maintaining the cleanliness of courier vehicles, performing basic maintenance checks, reporting any irregularities to a supervisor, and accurately accounting for all items using manual or electronic data collection devices. Requirements

Must have active driving privileges

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent
One to two years' courier experience

Responsibilities

Pick-up and delivery of specimens, reports and supplies for client locations according to department/company procedures
Keep courier vehicles clean
Perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles
Report any irregularities to the immediate supervisor
Accurately account for all items picked up and delivered using manual (paper) or electronic data collection devices
