About The Position
The Courier is responsible to inspect and operate a Hospital vehicle in a safe manner. Be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. of supplies, reports or specimens. To make deliveries and pick-ups as needed to meet the service requirements.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- New York State Driver's License.
- Prior Law Enforcement, Fire Service or Security Training.
Responsibilities
- Capable of operating a vehicle for extended periods of time.
- Safely transport specimens in the proper cooler and document tip sheets.
- Capable of reading a map and locating addresses.
- Capable of making dry ice.
- The operating and closing of buildings including the alarm systems.
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director/Manager or Supervisor as required.
