About The Position

We are looking for a per diem Courier to join our Lab and Administration office!
You will be responsible for picking up and delivering supplies, medical
specimens and packages between all CCP locations with a CCP vehicle. As a
per-diem Courier, your schedule will vary based on business need. Opportunities
for consistent routes will become available with experience.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous work experience.
• Must have valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of safe driving and vehicle maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of Community Care locations and how to read maps.
• Knowledge of handling biohazard materials safely.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and organize time well.
• Basic understanding & utilization of smart phone including sending and receiving text messages and using GPS.

Responsibilities

• Transport supplies, material and equipment from to site to site within Community Care including laboratory specimens, bank deposits, paychecks, mail, office supplies, and medical equipment.
• Pick up, sort and distribute items to/from assigned locations.
• Complete related paperwork such as mileage reports.
• Maintain regular schedule and communicates any temporary changes.
