About The Position

Follows a rigid schedule in transporting documents, mail, supplies, packages, medications, and clinical specimens within, to and from satellite facilities, and to and from other entities in the area.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid N.C. driver’s license and have an acceptable prior driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry mail and packages weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Ability to repeatedly get in and out of vehicles and walk up and down stairs with mail/packages.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.
• Previous experience in a security/communications related environment or experience as a courier is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transporting documents, mail, supplies, packages, medications, and clinical specimens within, to and from satellite facilities, and to and from other entities in the area.
• Following a rigid and time-specific schedule.
• Operating a motor vehicle safely at all times, including in congested traffic and under inclement weather conditions.
• Working alone with a minimum of supervision.
