About The Position

The primary responsibilities of the Courier position include but may not be limited to ensuring the safe and timely transportation of medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, laundry, and other routine and special healthcare-related errands, as well as transporting ambulatory patients. The Courier is also responsible for the timely pick up of mail and taking outgoing mail to the post office.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the safe and timely transportation of medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, laundry, and other routine and special healthcare-related errands.
Transporting ambulatory patients.
Timely pick up of mail and taking outgoing mail to the post office.
Operating a variety of motor vehicles.
Driving in inclement weather and adverse road conditions.
Occasionally driving to the extreme eastern portion of North Dakota.
Shuttling vehicles between the main campus and area airports.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Loading and unloading heavy objects to and from vehicles, into buildings, and sorting.
Picking up and dropping off medical supplies, lab, and other items timely.
Laundry pick-up and delivery to Wellness Center/McKenzie Health Clinic/Williston Clinic.
Daily mail run(s).
Taking vehicles for repair and routine maintenance.
Helping Maintenance when available.
