This position is responsible for collecting containers of various forms, sizes, and weights and delivering them to designated HMG locations. The Courier will maintain, deliver, and handle bank bags with cash and check deposits responsibly, ensuring timely delivery to ADMIN for daily bank deposits. A key aspect of this role is ensuring all packages are properly secured and locked in the vehicle at all times, using straps, tie-downs, and/or rope to reduce shifting and damage. The Courier will also complete necessary paperwork for supply deliveries, clean the company vehicle, and perform routine pre-trip inspections. Additionally, the role involves picking up mail at satellite offices, bringing it to the mailroom for sorting, posting, and mailing, and assisting with these mailroom tasks as needed. The Courier is expected to ensure customer satisfaction and relay any concerns to management, assist in maintaining an orderly and clean mailroom, and support Materials Management with special projects. This role also serves as a backup to the receiving clerk for mail and package delivery within the central HMG location and requires maintaining a professional, well-groomed, and neat appearance reflective of Holston Medical Group at all times.
