About The Position
Mercyhealth is an integrated health system that delivers exceptional, coordinated care across seven hospitals, 85 primary and specialty clinics, and a team of over 7,500 professionals serving northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Mercyhealth has been nationally recognized for its commitment to its people and culture. This role involves operating Mercy Courier Vans to pick up, load, unload, and deliver a wide variety of supplies and other items, following detailed route instructions and schedules. The position requires meticulous record-keeping and the safe operation of a motor vehicle.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed route instructions and schedules.
- Record and maintain detailed logs.
- Secure keys and key cards at all times.
- Pick up, load, unload and deliver a wide variety of supplies and other items.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle, specifically the Mercy Courier Vans.
- Repetitively enter and exit the driver and cargo areas of the vans.
- Document pick up and deliveries using tracking software.
