About The Position

The Courier Pay Analyst will be part of the Delivery Operations subteam at JET Logistics, reporting to the Manager, Courier Pay. This role focuses on optimizing the journey from restaurant to door and ensuring it works effectively for the couriers. It's a Monday to Friday position with significant commercial impact. At a strategic level, the analyst will be responsible for the analysis and recommendation of courier incentive and pay models across Canada. This involves designing experiments, evaluating their success, and proposing data-driven strategies to enhance courier supply competition in all operating markets. On a day-to-day basis, the role requires hands-on deployment of incentive packages, conducting post-analysis on experiments and regular activities, and collaborating with scheduling and insights teams to proactively identify network needs. The analyst will also contribute to the ongoing rollout of Courier Pay tools and play a key role in stakeholder communication, translating complex data into clear recommendations for market teams and senior leadership, serving as a primary contact for pay-related initiatives within the Canadian business.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business or operations analytics, with a proven ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business recommendations
  • SQL proficiency (multi-CTE queries, window functions, Google cloud data warehouse)
  • Expertise in Google Sheets or Excel for financial modelling
  • Strong analytical instincts with a track record of identifying performance anomalies, diagnosing root causes, and delivering findings to senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini etc) to build, train & automate agentic tools
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish rapport and drive accountability

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with LEAN/Six Sigma or similar operational improvement frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the effectiveness of courier pay & incentives and test out incentivization models to get the best performance outcomes from the courier network
  • Work closely with the global courier pay and delivery planning teams to keep abreast of how other markets are tackling similar problems and implement best practices in CA
  • Deploy incentive packages
  • Run post-analysis on experiments and BAU activities
  • Work closely with the scheduling and insights teams to anticipate where the network needs support before problems arise
  • Play a key role in the continued rollout of our Courier Pay tools
  • Translate complex data into clear recommendations for market teams and senior leadership
  • Act as a go-to point of contact for pay-related initiatives across the Canadian business

Benefits
