About The Position

Eurofins Built Environment Testing is hiring a full-time Courier / Laboratory Support employee for its Portland laboratory. The role delivers client sample packages from client sites and drop boxes to Eurofins laboratories, as well as between Eurofins locations in the larger metro area. It also supports sample receiving and login, ensuring samples are processed accurately and efficiently, and maintains communication with project managers, analysts, clients, and other management staff. Candidates must have a personal, registered vehicle and a clean driving record for the past three years.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Personal registered vehicle in good operating condition.
Clean driving record for the past three years.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, and speak in English.
Good typewriting skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Attention to detail.

Experience in sample receiving.

Responsibilities

Deliver samples from client sites and between Eurofins locations.
Receive and open packages.
Log in all samples in a timely manner.
Label all samples.
Perform quality control checks on samples and projects before they are sent into the laboratory.
Maintain open lines of communication with clients and internal staff.
Forward project-related information to the appropriate project manager.
Perform other related duties.
