About The Position

Country Visions Cooperative is hiring a full-time Country Store Manager for its New London Country store. The manager assists with the overall management of the store and reports directly to the Country Store Division Leader. The role involves leading store operations and team members, supporting customer satisfaction, and growing retail sales through customer service, promotions, and merchandising. The cooperative describes itself as an agriculture-based organization focused on service and long-term relationships, with roots dating back to 1923.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.
At least 1 year of proven management experience.
Proven track record of building sales, increasing profits, developing team members, and improving operations.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information effectively.
Accurate, confident, and dependable.
Motivated and task-oriented.
Excellent communication skills.
Friendly, energetic, and strong people skills.
Basic math and computer skills.
Must successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all in-store functions.
Promote teamwork and collaboration to maintain a positive work environment.
Assist and instruct team members with daily store operations.
Help ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Maintain store cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Develop retail sales growth, largely through outstanding customer service.
Order and price store merchandise according to proper procedures and directions from the Country Store Lead.
Complete assigned accounting reports and forms accurately and on time.
Ensure precautionary procedures protecting team members and company assets are followed.
Set written goals annually with the Country Store Lead.
Assist with implementing marketing and merchandising promotions.
Develop sales-generating displays.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Country Store Lead.
