About The Position
FLOFORM Countertops has been a leader in premium countertop fabrication and installation since 1961. With 16 branches and five manufacturing facilities across the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, we deliver quality countertops and exceptional customer experiences every day. We are seeking an experienced Countertop Templater / CAD Technician to join our Boise/Meridian team. This is a hands-on technical position for someone who understands construction, measurements, CAD, and the importance of getting the details right.
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and CAM software
- Previous experience in countertop templating, fabrication, installation, drafting, or related construction
- Experience with kitchen and/or bathroom construction or installation
- Strong blueprint, schematic, measurement, and intermediate math skills
- Excellent face-to-face customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and ability to work effectively with a wide range of customers
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- LT3 / Raptor experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Travel to residential and commercial job sites to complete accurate countertop templates and measurements
- Create digital drawings and CAD files for custom countertops and sinks
- Prepare files for CNC fabrication and production
- Complete work orders with precise measurements, sink and cooktop cutouts, faucet holes, radiuses, edges, and other specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
- Identify required modifications and communicate installation or templating requirements to customers
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Production to ensure accurate and timely job information
- Respond professionally to customer questions while on-site
- Submit completed templates and work orders within required timelines
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
