About The Position
Sims-Lohman is looking for a Countertop Template Technician for our Canton OH, Location. We'd like to hear from you if you have countertop template, cabinet & carpentry, or counter-top installation experience. Requirements
- Previous experience creating templates for counter-tops, cabinets and carpentry. Laser preferred.
- Knowledge of measuring tools, levels and preferably lasers
- Ability to perform simple math functions, including use of fractions.
Responsibilities
- Drive to various customer locations throughout the Canton market. (residential new construction, residential remodeling and commercial jobs)
- Confirm cabinet level and stability for granite/quartz/solid surface applications
- Confirm existing walls are plum and square
- Confirm overhang, splash dimensions and sink choice with customer
- Anticipate any installation and/or fabrication challenges
- Answer customer questions regarding installation process
- Measure templates at each job using an 2D3D Laser Digital Template, returning to the shop after site visit
- Complete required templates to feed daily production.
