Experienced Countertop Installer – Laminate & Solid Surface
About The Position
Delorie Countertops & Doors is an established and growing countertop fabrication and installation company located in Pompano Beach, FL. We specialize in laminate and solid surface countertops for residential and commercial projects. This position is for an experienced installer who understands countertop installation, is comfortable working with tools, reading measurements and layouts, fitting countertops, completing seams, and solving installation challenges in the field. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and wants steady, year-round employment.
Requirements
- Actual countertop installation experience.
- Experience installing laminate and/or solid surface countertops required.
- Strong knowledge of countertop installation techniques.
- Skilled with hand tools and power tools.
- Comfortable reading a tape measure and following layouts and drawings.
- Able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Takes pride in producing a clean, professional installation.
- Professional attitude and good customer-service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of countertop installation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install laminate and solid surface countertops in residential and commercial projects.
- Properly fit, level, seam, secure, and finish countertops.
- Complete countertop cutouts, backsplashes, seams, and other installation details.
- Take accurate measurements and make necessary field adjustments.
- Read drawings, layouts, measurements, and installation specifications.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and countertop installation equipment.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and find practical solutions in the field.
- Protect customers' homes, cabinets, walls, and surrounding areas during installation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members.
- Complete installations according to company quality standards.
