About The Position

Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is actively seeking a Counterproliferation Special Projects (CPSP) Senior Analyst to work in support of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Nuclear Matters. (ODASW NM). In this key role, you will assist the Director of Counterproliferation Special Projects in managing strategic project investments across all DoW components with assigned CWMD missions. This position does not permit hybrid or remote work with all job duties performed full-time onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

Requirements

  • Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in National Security, International Studies, Legislation, Nuclear Studies, Government, Political Science, or other related fields. A Master’s degree is equivalent to 3 years of additional experience.
  • 13+ years of experience within counterproliferation and / or non proliferation.
  • Experience working in a staff environment and briefing senior DoW leaders.
  • Experience with DoW’s PPBE processes.
  • Knowledge of DoW acquisition policies procedures and processes.
  • Ability to travel to CONUS/OCONUS stakeholder sites in support of CPSP objectives (less than 20%).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an Office of the Secretary of War (OSW)/Joint Staff/Service Staff/Interagency environment.
  • Familiarity with WMD and counter WMD strategy plans concepts and stakeholders.
  • Experience and established knowledge of DoW processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct program reviews of CPSP-funded programs projects and activities.
  • Work within the Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) resource allocation process to ensure CPSP investments are resourced appropriately to accomplish strategic objectives as well as interfacing with and providing guidance to DoW and U.S. Government organizations to ensure that CPSP-funded project timelines and goals are met.
  • Identify options acquisition strategies management procedures and information systems to assist the Director of CPSP in exercising acquisition oversight and resource management.
  • Integrate functions and activities necessary to assist the Director of CPSP in managing a portfolio of investments including resource management and oversight.
  • Interface with project managers and technical subject matter experts from DoW and U.S. Government organizations funded by the CPSP program.
  • Provide interagency coordination and coordinate/interact with interagency working groups and bodies.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and attending meetings drafting and reviewing documents as required.
  • Provide direction to project team personnel to ensure timelines and project goals are met.
  • Interface with the Director of CPSP daily to provide direct customer support.
