About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Counterintelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) & Instructor to provide intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy. The role involves monitoring and analyzing political, military, and economic developments, assessing future and ongoing political-military developments, military capabilities, doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces. The SME will research and author threat assessments, connect information from various sources to create reports on anti-terrorism and national security, and validate intelligence. Additionally, the role requires expertise in technology-focused disciplines, including mobile devices, the internet, and Artificial Intelligence, teaching associated vulnerabilities, adversary targeting methods, and best practices countermeasures. The position involves developing and delivering formal learning products, including instructor-led and web-based coursework, to enhance CI acumen and tradecraft, while managing multiple concurrent, high-priority tasks with a team player mentality and flexibility.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

  • Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI).
  • Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the AORs and AOIs.
  • Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country.
  • Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support senior leadership.
  • Connects pieces of information that is available from different sources like field agents and form reliable reports on anti-terrorism and national security to deal with potential threats.
  • Assesses the believability of the information from the reliable sources, collects it and validates intelligence.
  • Provide expertise in a technology-focused discipline, with a focus on maintaining current and relevant information on the discipline.
  • Demonstrate expertise in relevant technology areas including mobile devices, the internet and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Teach the workings of technology and associated vulnerabilities, as well as adversary targeting methods and best practices countermeasures.
  • Develop and deliver formal learning products, including instructor-led and web-based coursework, to enhance CI acumen and tradecraft.
  • Work on multiple, concurrent, high-priority tasks, demonstrating a team player mentality and flexibility.
