About The Position

Cintel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Counterintelligence Officer to provide support to our government customer and their mission. This role involves identifying and assessing potential threat information, recommending mitigation efforts, and incorporating findings into formal reports. The officer will conduct analysis in support of operational activities to assemble, correlate, evaluate and assess information concerning counterintelligence and intelligence threats against personnel, programs, information systems and/or facilities. Additionally, the role requires analyzing information to identify intelligence gaps and specify collection requirements, supporting counterintelligence and intelligence inquiries, preparing intelligence information reports when appropriate, and conducting counterintelligence briefings.

Requirements

  • Works independently and/or leads sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems
  • Recent analytical report drafting and analysis experience to include Q&A
  • Experience providing intelligence analysis support to vetting and/or research, development, and acquisitions
  • A minimum of (8) years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project
  • A minimum of (5) years of related experience supporting counterintelligence analysis as an agent or analyst
  • Must be formally CI trained and certified to USD/I approved standards pursuant to DoD Directive 5240.02
  • Final Top Secret with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess potential threat information, recommend mitigation efforts, and incorporate findings into formal reports
  • Conduct analysis in support of operational activities to assemble, correlate, evaluate and assess information concerning counterintelligence and intelligence threats against personnel, programs, information systems and/or facilities
  • Analyze information received to identify intelligence gaps and specify collection requirements to answer these gaps via appropriate collection means
  • Support counterintelligence and intelligence inquiries under the direction of the counterintelligence team lead
  • When appropriate, prepare intelligence information reports
  • Conduct counterintelligence briefings to personnel as required
