About The Position

JCITA's mission is to provide the U.S. government with a well-trained and knowledgeable cadre of counterintelligence practitioners to combat adversarial intelligence threats. This role involves providing world-class instruction for the Joint Military Counterintelligence Collections Course (JMCCC). The instructor will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing training certification for CI Agents to independently plan and conduct CI collection activities. This includes identifying and detecting Foreign Intelligence Entity (FIE) activities against DoD, responding to validated CI requirements, and supporting the identification, exploitation, disruption, manipulation, or neutralization of FIE intelligence operations. Instruction will be delivered through various methods, including classroom-based teaching, field exercises, and blended learning techniques such as eLearning, lectures, discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role plays, and demonstrations.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with poly or ability to obtain poly.
  • Five (5) years of experience conducting CI or HUMINT Collection.
  • Graduate from an accredited CI Special Agent credentialing school.
  • Completed one of the following CI or HUMINT source handling courses: MCC course, ACICC, JMCCC, DATC, ASOTC, MOTC, FTC, OTC, or an IC school equivalent or have experience conducting Level II MCC in accordance with the DoDI-S 5240.17.
  • Served as a CI Collector with experience conducting the full operational cycle.
  • Ability to sit and stand for up to four (4) hours at one time and be able to walk for up to five (5) miles in one day.

Responsibilities

  • Providing world-class, Joint Military Counterintelligence Collections Course (JMCCC) instruction.
  • Planning, developing, and executing training certification for CI Agents to independently plan and conduct CI collection (IAW EO 12333 and DoDI S-5240.17) to identify and detect FIE activities against DoD and respond to validated CI requirements and support the identification, exploitation, disruption, manipulation, or neutralization of FIE intelligence operations aimed at DoD and U.S. interests.
  • Delivering classroom-based instruction and assessing student performance in field exercises that frequently exceed 8-hours a day, includes weekends, and requires travel within the NCR and CONUS.
  • Employing blended learning techniques to include a combination of eLearning tools, lectures, classroom discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role plays and demonstrations of required skills through work-related tasks.
