This course provides a national capability for CI analysts to independently apply analytical tradecraft principles, concepts, tools, and techniques in direct support of complex CI activities in accordance with DoDI 5240.18, "Counterintelligence (CI)Analysis and Production." The CI Analyst can produce analytical products to address threats posed by espionage, international terrorism, assassination, and covert activities. This includes other activities that have a Foreign Intelligence Entity nexus. The CI SME assigned to support this course will deliver classroom based instruction and assess student performance in activities that frequently exceed 8-hour a day. This CI SME must have experience as a CI Analyst, coordinating and supporting CI Agents conducti ng CI investigations, collection, or operations.
