About The Position

This position can be worked remotely from any location within the continental United States. The role is for a "Quality" person that wants to continuously improve business processes and solve complex challenges. The individual will represent the Supplier Quality organization as the Counterfeit Parts Prevention (CPP) Subject Matter Expert (SME). This individual will chair the ES Sector CPP Board with other BAE Systems functional team members who oversee & administer the ES Business CPP Program. The responsibility includes continuously improving, enhancing robustness, and increasing the organization’s CPP proficiency. The role is responsible for strategic planning, risk management, training & education, and compliance as it relates to CPP across the ES Business. Additionally, the individual will attend CPP summits/symposiums, manage supplier CPP compliance, and conduct joint CPP audits as determined by risk management reviews with the CPP Board. This position acts as the ES Business external facing representative for all CPP related matters attending both Government and Industry gatherings on CPP regulatory and standards requirements. This role is an individual contributor role that manages both strategic and tactical activities on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Experience with Program Quality, Program Engineering, Supply Chain/Supplier Management/Procurement, Quality Systems, Industry Standards (AS9100, AS5553, AS6171, AS6081…), and USG Contracts, Terms & Conditions, DFARS, FARs & other DoD regulatory requirements.
  • Project management skills.
  • Material Review Board (MRB) disposition expertise.
  • Procedure writing skills.
  • Public speaking skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree with 6-8+ years of experience or 10-12+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • AS9100 Auditor certification and/or Quality Management System (AS9100) audit experience.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt and/or process improvement experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise with Industry Standards Committees and Government relations.
  • EEE Manufacturing/Process/Design Engineering skills.
  • AS9100 Auditor certification and/or 5+ years of Quality Management System audit experience.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt and/or 5+ years of process improvement experience.
