About The Position

As a Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Staff Officer working as part of the Counter Improvised Threat Integration Cell, your leadership, technical expertise, and high-level staff experience will assist the U.S. Army to counter the ever changing and expanding UAS threat. You will serve as a subject matter expert on C-UAS capabilities, training, and associated processes. You will assist the Army client to analyze and understand capability gaps, with a focus on force protection, and prepare recommendations to close gaps. You will support the development of documents that address C-UAS capabilities and UAS threats, including exercise scenarios, training guidance, EXORDs and OPLANS or OPORDs. You will assist the Army to integrate theater-specific C-UAS training requirements, advise on force protection requirements based on the UAS threat, and coordinate with other operational commands, force providers, and partner nations regarding training, equipping, and resourcing. You will produce reports, information papers, briefings, and other products for the client focused on force protection. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience working with the U.S. military as a senior NCO or Officer
  • 2+ years of experience working on air defense, electronic warfare, or C-UAS programs or activities
  • Experience serving on a Brigade or higher-level staff
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Completion of a Senior NCO or Captains Career Course

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the military or deployment
  • Experience with electronic warfare
  • Experience with UAS- related Force Protection
  • Experience serving on an Army Division or higher-level staff, or Combatant Command staff, or supporting Department of Defense or Joint organizations
  • Experience with SharePoint, Maven Smart System, or the Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE)
  • Possession of excellent written communication and analytical skills
