About The Position

This role supports the SMGBAD SSBU and LADS SBU of the Raytheon organization. This role is for the Counter UAS Portfolio FP&A Lead, responsible for all Financial Planning and Analysis tasks within the CUAS portfolio of programs. CUAS programs, part of the Short and Medium Ground-Based Air Defense (SMGBAD) product area and the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) strategic business unit. This role will support CUAS finance and program leadership and oversee the FP&A scope of the Domestic LIDS, International LIDS, Coyote, and High Energy Lasers contracts. This position is responsible for the monthly forecasting and risk & opportunity management of CUAS financials. They are a critical contributor to developing the monthly Forecast, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long Range Plan (LRP). This position is a key member of the CUAS Finance Team and will need to be able to work across a matrixed organization to effectively analyze and message financial results. The role provides the opportunity for exposure to multiple facets of the CUAS & SMGBAD finance organizations, and Program and Functional leadership teams. This position is being offered in a hybrid capacity (onsite & remote). The CUAS Leadership Team works out of Tucson, AZ, McKinney, TX & Andover, MA. The preferred candidate will be located within commutable distance to one of these locations. Relocation assistance is not being provided.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5 years finance/accounting experience; OR an Advanced degree with 3 years finance/accounting experience.
  • Experience in Program Cost Schedule & Control, Financial Planning, or similar role
  • Experience in financial modeling, data analysis using tools like Excel, SAP, and/or other financial systems
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or a related industry
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve and support the CUAS programs as the FP&A Lead, with responsibility for internal financial performance reporting, financial forecast (including AOP and LRP), balance sheet, and billings/cash collection reporting.
  • Prepare FP&A deliverables and present financial results to the team.
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance, analysis, and reporting as requested by management and team.
  • Serve as the FP&A SME on the CUAS finance team, providing instruction and guidance to CUAS analysts on FP&A forecasting tasks.
  • Raise the performance level of the team and provide the organizations they support with timely and thorough quantitative analysis that supports business, program, and project decision making.
