About The Position
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused HVAC Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers, processing orders and quotes, supporting sales operations, and maintaining an organized branch environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of customer service experience.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Nice To Haves
- HVAC industry experience preferred.
- Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, email, and web customers.
- Process quotes, sales orders, returns, and warranty paperwork accurately.
- Prepare and stage customer pickup orders.
- Communicate order status, arrivals, and backorders to customers.
- Promote HVAC products and assist customers with product selection.
- Support warehouse operations, including stocking shelves and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Prepare UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in after-hours rotation as needed.
