Requirements
- Customer service experience in a hands-on, high-volume environment
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move materials safely in a warehouse and counter setting
- Clear, professional, and patient communication under pressure
- Strong attention to accuracy and the judgment to ask when unsure
- Self-directed work ethic with no need for constant supervision
Nice To Haves
- Experience at a parts counter, supply house, or trades-adjacent environment
- Familiarity serving HVAC technicians, refrigeration contractors, mechanics, or similar trade professionals
- Comfort with product lookups, order entry, and fast-paced counter operations
- HVAC and refrigeration product knowledge
Responsibilities
- Serve the trade with confidence by helping technicians and contractors identify the right part, solve product questions in real time, and move fast without sacrificing accuracy.
- Manage the counter with precision by entering sales orders, processing transactions, handling returns, credits, and warranty claims, and keeping the front-end running cleanly even when volume is high and customers are stacked up.
- Support the Resource Center by assisting with stocking, inventory counts, and helping customers load product safely.
- Build relationships that last by treating every interaction as an opportunity to earn loyalty, not just close a transaction.
